Inventions
Thomas Edison had many inventions, he had put patents on over 1,000 of his inventions and was a very hardworking, determined man. He did not invent the lightbulb but he did improve it, before the lightbulb could not last for very long and did not produce a very bright light. Edison was successful on creating a long lasting lightbulb when an incandescent lamp with a filament of carbonized sewing thread burned for thirteen and a half hours.
The phonograph, was the first invention to ever be invented by Thomas Edison. The phonograph was found out by Thomas Edison when he was trying to increase the efficiency of a telegraph transmitter, he realized the tape of the machine gave off a noise similar to the sound of a voice speaking when played at high speeds. Edison messed around with the device and then recorded him singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb"
